Progressing Ballet Technique is an innovative program developed by Marie Walton-Mahon for students to understand the depth of training muscle memory in achieving their personal best in classical ballet. 

Brenda Butcher, Nikki Bybee and Cati Snarr have been certified by Marie Walton-Mahon to teach this unique technique. 

The class will be offered Monday evenings from 6:30-7:15 pm.  It is available by 10-pass punch card or drop in rate of $15 per class.  All participants must come prepared with a yoga mat and a ball to their personal height specifications. This is an open class for ages 8+.

When you stand next to an exercise ball, it should be even or slightly above your knee level. The best way to size up your ball is by sitting on it. When you sit on the ball, your knees should be bent at a 90-degree angle and your thighs should be parallel or even with the floor. Find your height and see which ball size you should try first.

The following chart shows a slight variation of recommended heights for the different ball sizes you can choose from:
